Pow Airs = Heavy?

I don't have / am not getting Rossi Pow Airs.

But there was a demo pair I saw yesterday that were 178, They had some Silver Rossi Bindings, on them... and they were incredibly heavy.

Are all PowAirs like this or could it be the weight of the binding? I hope my 1260s won't be that heavy.

its probably just the binding... relax..ski weight isnt so important :)

But it's kinda nice to have a lite ski.

BTW: Any know how heavy the Salomon s810 is compared to other bindings?

it was the demo binding. they make em so they can change quickly to fit your boot so they weigh more. about the salomons, i have no idea, unless you have your mind set, check out look bindings.

I had powairs, they aren't heavy. Demo binders weigh a ton.

about the 810 - they are okay but only got to 10 on the din, so only really good if you dont ski too often, or are really light

i had s810s and they were alright, not great, stay away from em though, my broke the first day of skiing em.....if your lookin for bindings get looks or rossis you cant loose with them
