Description
I’ve only skied 10 hours in these. They ski great, I’ve just decided to size down to a 26.5. If you’re not familiar, these are generally regarded as being one of the strongest downhill performing touring boots. You really don't give up much compared to a typical alpine boot. If you've been kidding yourself that you're going to start touring this year - this is the boot for you! Checkout the blister review of the 130 - https://blisterreview.com/gear-reviews/2016-2017-tecnica-cochise-130-pro
There have been a few shell adjustments. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions if you’re concerned.
- The left boot does have a 6th toe punch (widen at base of pinky toe). My foot is 108mm wide and still makes contact with the shell on both sides so I think it should still work well for a lot of people (unless you are narrow and never find boots tight). Bootfitter told me that hitting it with the heat gun again could help return the shell to its original shape.
- The right boot was widened at the location of the pinky toe nail. It should not impact fit at as the forefoot was not widened. It should however make the boot more comfortable.
Again, let me know if you have questions. I’m open to meeting up in the Denver metro if you want to try them on.
