We just had the awards ceremony for Cold Rush here at Retallack, and it was a pretty big surprise for me to be on the podium. It was a great honor for me to be skiing alongside these other skiers and to be up there on the podium with Sage and Kye.
Kye had the all or nothing mentality going on all week long, and it was sick to watch. He was either doing ridiculous things that you thought would be totally impossible, or start a huge slide or crash. It really was all or nothing for him and although this contest was a hard thing to judge he definitely deserved the win, and I'm stoked for him.
