I really like Liberty. My first pair of real skis were Liberty KGB's and I still ski on them to this day. I learned to spin and butter on them and they were my training wheels from the beginning. Super progressive ski company with high quality products who seem like a close knit community.

That is awesome! I'm stoked to hear you had a great experience with our product. The KGB was a great model in which we learned a lot of things, evidence of which you can find in our current and future lines.

Keep the comments coming! We at Liberty love to hear what you have to say about our products and our company and Yes, we do listen!

Keep skiing!

The Helix helped me fall in love with skiing again last year when I was working out in Austria and it started dumping every day, made it so easy to ride pow and still get around on the pistes. Also I really enjoy the Larose in the park despite my limited skill.

I got a chance to ride the Double Helix in Val Thorens in December too; those things just ate up the powder; was awesome looking back up at my line and seeing the huge trenches they had created.

Had a good response from the majority of people in the UK who have got hold of some; despite some problems on the 08 range with Laminate bubbling and topsheet chipping; though the laminate bubble is apparently due to storing the skis near a heat source; and topsheet chips do happen; although they did seem more liable to it than some other skis.

Can't wait to get a hold of some 2010 models.

That is cool that you got to try out some Double Helix's. I have never skied on skis fatter than 85 underfoot but want to purchase some between 100 and 115 underfoot. I don't know if I want Helix's or if I want to tryout a company other than Liberty like Line Elizabeths or Surface Live Life 2's. Thanks for posting your thoughts on Liberty and hopefully we'll hear some more feedback on this amazing company.

Hey dude, I just posted in your other thread about Helix.

Where are you based? It may be worth trying to find out if there are any demo sessions happening with the new or current models and you can test the Helix for yourself. I think you'll like them though; it's won awards and stuff for a reason!

I'm in Juneau, Alaska, we are a little too small for demo sessions but it is still really fun. I am just researchin a bunch of different skis and looking around.
