Subject: A ski for Banff!
Hooolldd tighht rudde boi,
I'm off to Banff for a half year and want a twin ski that will fit the bill. I'm essentially a ski racer at heart, and will be bringing a pair of my fischer sl world cup 165's in case I crave the groomers.
But let's be real, I'm going to a big mountain setting, and I don't plan on skiing groomers. I want to ski powder, the backside, all existing bowls, and occasionally hit some nice jumps in the park. This being said since my nature is racing, a ski that is unable to turn or carve to some extent will be a real turnoff.
My knowledge in All Mountain/Powder/Freestyle ski's is completely limited. I'm turning to you experts over here. What do you recommend that isn't to expensive that would fit the bill?

I'm going to guess you would like a stiffer ski, with a good sidecut right? Look at the Line Prophet series, there's the flight, 90, 100, and 130. All of them except the flight have metal, and as you might guess, the numbers are the waist widths, and the flight has a 90mm waist too.

i flexed some prophets the other day and they were actually surprisingly soft. check out the volkl mantras there a super solid ski and they sound like just what your looking for

Go for either the Prophet series (90 or 100), Line Blend. Salomon Czar, K2 Obsethed (probablly some of last years with less rocker if your new).. I dunno, look for something between 90-110 mm.
Come to Kicking Horse too, it's 2 hours west of Banff, and I can ensure you it will be good

I had a pair of Prophet 90's for a season in Kicking Horse. It's a great ski for everything in the Rockies. My friend has the 100, It's awesome too, it will be better if you come during a time with lots of snow since the added waist will help.

in sunshine and like surrounding areas they get sick snow from time to time but your gonna want something somewhat stiff
its just a depression where the muscle got infected and died, and the skin graft came from rigt by my dick so i have pubes growing on my arm- charmander

obesthed is a really good banff ski, prophet is stiffer for sure. lots of fun.
