you know what............all the steroids talk......if you think for a second that the Yankees are the only team that had steroid users your crazy. it was rampant all over baseball. and this is the first year that baseball has been somewhat close to "clean" in years and we still won.

and to anyone who talks about payroll and money etc....... The Yankees owners are doing what any good owner should do, put your money back into the team. yes i think it sucks that beers at the stadium are $8.00 but shit, at least i get to watch a good team. look at a team like the Rangers for example. look how many great players have come and gone because the owners dont want to dish out any money out of their own pockets to keep them. Lets not even talk about the Marlins (2 years ago their payroll was just over $21,000,000 and they received ~$20,000,000 in salary cap tax) no equity investment and where did the licensing and ticket revenue go???

No hate. im just trying to raise a point. Phillies are a great team but Im glad to see the Core 4 get their 5th ring. 27!

Thats not exactly true but i'll go with it. But they still blow a shit ton of money on players.

213.8 Million dollars on player payrolls = them winning the world series.

Congrats and enjoy the win but spending that much money takes away from the pureness of the sport IMO
