i might ask for a temp ban the weeks of december. exams this semester are what will pretty much predict my career, so i need to do my best.

Subject: Ban me please - I have things to do.
If you are taking the time to read this, you probably have also put off things you should be doing rather than cruising Newschoolers. Something new that you might find useful. My fellow mods might hate me for the increased messaging, but.
We have a new tool that allows a time limit to be set with a ban. So, if you have homework, need to study for a test, give your girlfriend/boyfriend some quality attention....... you can request a duration from a mod to temporarily ban you.

This is a really good idea. I need this for the rest of today until sunday afternoon. Boring homework is so easy to be distracted from. And it's a paper that requires internet use, so I will see NS on my favorites tab the whole time.
