i just got a call from my boy dan and Tim windell is officially the biggest douchebag ever and fired the entire video crew for apparently no legit reason at all suddenly, besides more profit for him. 6 years of dedication with bearly and pay for thousands of hours of hard work every summer and its just done like that.. He just fucked over my friends lives at least temporarily and the chillest Boss I have ever had, is now unemployed with bills and rent piling up and will probably have to move. Banned from windells park and campus , summer ruined for all the filmers who now need to find a way to get home and will loose hundreds of dollars. The only reason I am not in the same situation is cause i broke my cam and had to take this summer off. Anyways respect to everyone who chose not to support this guy and attend other summer camps that still have some morals

^I agree that tim is an ass hole, he has no respect for skiers/ the skiing part of the camp what so ever. but tons of shenanigans do go on at windells. ex. last year the grenade guys got drunk/ high and grafited the burton van. tim had them arrested.

Ive heard things such as they didnt have enough money for the windell's intern to get a lift pass? and i guess none of the ride liners (Line is apparantly a "generous" sponsor of windell's? as they say) could get a hookup to ski there....? My emails and talks with managers havent been successful in trying to find a spot to practice this summer

the cost of living is on the rise. the cost of driving a snowcat is rediculous. sucks that he wont hook up line riders but they have like a million unknowns and if everyone of them showed up they would be taking alot of room away from the people who paid a ton of cash to be there. i garuntee they give pollard tickets...but to have the attitude of im going to go here for free because im a good skier is silly and you shouldnt count on that.

Ehh, I kinda disagree. Having a few good kids shred around the camp shouldn't be a huge deal. When I was there last year I was hitting the big table, and it was just me, and one other camper. The coaches weren't even helping him.... just sitting at the bottom and saying things after he went. No one around him to get him stoked or offer pointers before dropping. And, a good portion of the time that good skiers go there they film. It's almost like free advertising. It doesn't take anything away from the campers. That one 4bi9 hyphy edit last year has over 150,000 views on youtube. Had Travis let them into Windells, that would be 150,000 views of Windells terrain. I agree and know first hand about what eastAR5$ is takling about. more then 70% of return employees and long term staff left this year on their own doing or the owners firing spree. Its all about the $$... he's a business man and its about the bottom line in his eyes. he doesnt care that ALL his main staff and emloyees of 5-9yrs left if he can find someone to do the job cheaper reguardless of peoduct he will. HE IS TRYING TO SELL THE CAMP>>> ITS ON THE MARKET! so he's tryin to pad his pockets as much as possible this summer. Not only did he lose his video staff, but lost his head ski coach of 10yrs, head snowboard coach of 8yrs, Park manager of 9yrs ( He built the best park windells has seen in more then 6 years last summer), his Adult program manager ( the guy thats runs all the 18+ stuff) also his camp director and interns.... so its not do to the jobs they were doing cause he had a record season profit last year and a record snow year this year!! It comes down to $$ and the bottom line... thats it! I know because alot of the ppl i know work there still or did work there and I did (was going to be my 1st year) but Tim did the same to my boss... agrees on a price with him on his wages and ours then flaked out because he wanted to save $$ and my boss said no deal and stuck to his guns! ( good work!!) now we all had to try to get our houses back and jobs back for the summer... some of us werent and are living on friends couches do to his penny pinching and greed, not our boss's fault. He actually did his best to take good care of us and make sure Tim wasnt screwing us over like he has to ppl in the past. The result of his penny pinching just with my boss and our crew... Session 1 = NO PARK!!! all the campers that paid 1800$ to be coached in a sick PRIVATE park got to ride the public park with everyone else... how would YOU feel if it was ur 1800$ So my advice is... well i would say the same thing as eastAR5$

I know because alot of the ppl i know work there still or did work there and I did (was going to be my 1st year) but Tim did the same to my boss... agrees on a price with him on his wages and ours then flaked out because he wanted to save $$ and my boss said no deal and stuck to his guns! ( good work!!) now we all had to try to get our houses back and jobs back for the summer... some of us werent and are living on friends couches do to his penny pinching and greed, not our boss's fault. He actually did his best to take good care of us and make sure Tim wasnt screwing us over like he has to ppl in the past. The result of his penny pinching just with my boss and our crew... Session 1 = NO PARK!!! all the campers that paid 1800$ to be coached in a sick PRIVATE park got to ride the public park with everyone else... how would YOU feel if it was ur 1800$ So my advice is... well i would say the same thing as eastAR5$

I agree and know first hand about what eastAR5$ is takling about. more then 70% of return employees and long term staff left this year on their own doing or the owners firing spree. Its all about the $$... he's a business man and its about the bottom line in his eyes. he doesnt care that ALL his main staff and emloyees of 5-9yrs left if he can find someone to do the job cheaper reguardless of peoduct he will. HE IS TRYING TO SELL THE CAMP>>> ITS ON THE MARKET! so he's tryin to pad his pockets as much as possible this summer. Not only did he lose his video staff, but lost his head ski coach of 10yrs, head snowboard coach of 8yrs, Park manager of 9yrs ( He built the best park windells has seen in more then 6 years last summer), his Adult program manager ( the guy thats runs all the 18+ stuff) also his camp director and interns.... so its not do to the jobs they were doing cause he had a record season profit last year and a record snow year this year!! It comes down to $$ and the bottom line... thats it! word. i had to work my ass off to go to windells (just got back from sesh 1.) we did not even go near windells park, we just hit up the public park. day 1 there wasn't even a decent public park, we seshed one 2 foot wide flat box. we basically only got 3 days of legit skiing, and i paid for six. oops, typing too faast.. lots of typo's;
