John Brown's Body is a pretty hot Dub band born out of Ithaca. They're not exactly Sublime, but worth checking out. If you like what you hear on their site they will be playing a free show in Cortland in late July. Check the pics credited to bigshotimaging on their site and tell them how much you love them. lol

Sublime border on ska sometimes fully into it, so maybe check out some ska acts~

Reel Big Fish
are some mainstream examples

maybe check screetching weasel, suicidal tendencies etc too.
