bad sellers
Bp. - I was a bit hesitant to put Bp. up on here because I know he is well respected on this site. However, I was not that satisfied with his practices as a seller. I bought a pair of pants from him, and he certainly sold them to me for a good price. The problem was, that he had not stated the condition accurately and I suspect that it wasn't something that he did not notice, but rather him being a bit dishonest. The pants were advertised as Brand New with Tags. When I received them, I immediately noticed a 2 inch scrape on the pants, 1 inch of which was cut completely, exposing the insulation of the pants. The bottoms in the back of the pants had some dirt stains as if they had been worn.
When I asked him about it, he said that they were Brand New and in the original bag until he sent them to me. Yet, in the picture in his sale thread they were not bagged and in PMs prior to the sale he mentioned how they fit on him, indicating that he had tried them on. When I eventually decided to wear them and take the tag off the tag was actually loose and came off as if someone had taken it off before and put it back on. All these points lead me to believe that he did know of the condition and someone may have worn them, so there are lots of inconsistencies in what happened.
All in all, I probably would have still been willing to pay for them at the price I paid had I known the condition. My point, though, is that it was the negligence to properly state condition that bothered me, whether it points to dishonesty or carelessness from the seller. He did refer me to people who were looking for the pants in case I wanted to sell them, so I don't think he intended poorly as a seller. I'd just recommend anyone who may deal with him in the future to make sure he is being up front about the condition of the product being sold.
as everyone can do im gonna cover myself on this,
These pants were never used, and were bagged until i got them, Where i took the picture, I never wore these pants, but I own alot of oakley gear including pants, and the same size which is how i knew the fit of the pants.
secondly I never saw any rips or tears, and was very responsive to the issue, showed many ways to resell the pants and worked to resolve the issue, however i let a pair of Antifrezze pants go for REDONK cheap.
and to all of you who know the Puffy 3.5 pants you know you buy these pants for looks not at all qaulity, there are numerous infact pages of threads that mention how easily the pants rip.
I dont really think it fair to be put on the BAD list, however I do appreciate the concern.
