i understand what they are but how do you throw it, ii mean for a misty just do a front flip and halfway throw your armd threw to start spinning, and for a rodeo ive heard 90 to back, a little more description because if you just say lincoln loop with a 180 or whatever it would probably turn out to be an underflip or over flip,
so i mean could anyone be more descriptive on mistys and Rodeos??

i just learned how to do misties by running off a pier into water. what i did was like kind of throw a frontflip but with my right shoulder leading. i odnt know thats just how i started. try off a diving board probably a lot easier

dude, misty, u just do a frontflip and spin, its so easy, and rodeo, do a lincoln, and as ur throwing spin kinda and float it around, underflips and overflips u pause at at 90

well for a rodeo which way to you want to loop and which way do you want to spin?? like if you loop by throwing your head down to yuor left side, which way do you want to spin, to the left or to the right?

Rodeo. Think 90 to back and look up at the sky. It's really hard to do right on a tramp. If you ever get the chance try it at a water ramp or at least on a powder day

dood thats the truth...

everyone has a different opinion on what tricks are what and i dont even thin kany one really knows. i think misty is a front w/ a spin, rodeo is kinda a looped back flip spin (look at the horizon wehn you pop), underflip lincon w/ a spin and a d spin is strait back like an ariel ( w/ spin)
thats just me tho

alright, so for a rodeo throw ur left shoulder back and your head up and to the side, u will be blind in the beginning then u will beable to spot ur landing. thats a rodeo, if u throw right-side do opposite of what i just said.

for mistys throw you right hand toward you left knee you will beable to see where you are almost all the way through, again opposite for right-side

i accidently learned rodeos into the pool just cuz i tried doing a lincoln loop, but accidently would always go crooked in the spin. So just throw some lincolns and then try to twist em up.

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...

A rodeo is a hard trick to do the first time. After the first time it's the easiest trick ever. Think of it like 90 to back and look up at the sky. fool around try a few different things. I read somwhere to think of it like your punching somone who is standing beside you (forget the fact that your feet would hit him). And I hear somwhere to think of it like a your head butting someone infront of you with your back to the ground. I dunno I just tryed things. Never got it on the tramps until I tryed on water ramps though

^in a way you're right, but doing a back and lookin at the sky is pretty much a lincoln, thats how the flip looks as it does because its a like off-axis lincoln kinda its weird, you no it when u see it, i just did licolns first, then did a lincoln and when i was about half way though i would do a 180 and it just eventualy turned out

look what you started, hahaha, everyone has different opinions on rodeos and mistys, some are lincoln loops with a spin, some are backflips with a spin, just watch a lot of ski movies and you'll get it. to get the real feel of a rodeo you need to be moving forward, not just stayin in the same position on the tramp

when I say 90 to back I don't mean back flip. I mean like on the tramp try out just a 90 to backdrop. Do that a couple times then take more air and set it harder

no if you spin harder and dont try to "flip" ( i hate saying flip) harder youll get the 180 or 3 into the rotaion naturally and not end up doing a rodeo 5 to 180 know what i mean?

misties are thrown with the shoulders by turning the shoulder opposite the way you spin forward under the other shoulder. Imagine jumping and turning so you land on your back. stick with the spin and it naturally comes out as a 5. if you do not dip your shoulder enough when you set your spin, you will do a bio, which is a foreward cork. For rodeos do the same thing except have the should that is the same as the way you spin turn back under your opposite shoulder.

to add rotation to misty and rodeo 5s, twist your body in the direction you want to spin as it comes around. this will not work if you huck the spins because that leaves your body tweaked out in the air and unable to twist the exta rotationsout. to preventr this try keeping you feet under you, square with your shoulders. practice into a pool or on a tramp. Try to make your rodeos and misties as smooth as possible before adding rotations, or else you will look like shit.

i think of a misty as a frontflip 180.

i think a rodeo is an inverted flatspin with a spin at the end.

thast just me, i might be wrong i might be right, truth is that i dont care and you shouldnt be asking people how to do tricks. what i did is i watch movies and put the tricks i wanna learn in slowmo and watch how they set the rotation and how they throw the trick.
