Posted by Ahmet Dadali -           This year I decided to get my roll on outta Colorado and into Utah where i can ski Backcountry, handrails, and Park within 30 minutes of eachother, along with being around a huge, emphasis on huge, crew of skiers and my brother who i havent gotten to really rip with in a good 4 years since moving out of NY. I do not regret my decision at all, i have been skiing rails since september 30th and took my first little backcountry venture of the year.      I rolled up with my little brosif to brighton to ski the peaks in the far ridges of brighton. There is nothing better than being out in the mountains with nothing else going on but the beautiful views infront of you and scoping out the lines you want to rip down. 2 hours, 3000 vertical feet, and about 2 miles in we were finally at the top of our first line. Both of us had a smile on our faces after skiing our first real run of the year where from the looks of it no one has ripped yet for the season. we immediately began to rehike the far peak another 2 times. We started at out 10:30 am and made it back to our car at 6:00 pm, a hell of a session, i was retarded enough to only eat a banana for breakfast and was dying by the end. This preseason session was way more than worth it, the snow wasnt perfect but it was good, the sun wasnt shining but it was fine, it doesnt matter what the weather is like, its all about being out there on skis and having the most fun you can.              Check out my facebook for more pictures. Hope you guys enjoyed this little update, I’m heading to Switzerland next week so expect another one with many pictures and a video to cap it off! get excited for ski season.
Winter is on!
Posted by Tanner Rainville - The snow has started to fall here in Summit County, Colorado. Arapahoe Basin and Loveland ski areas have been open for just about 3 weeks now, and the forecast is looking white. Here’s a few shots of the fresh snow on the peaks….

Under Armour helping out fallen athletes
Posted by Scott Hibbert - Under Armour is proud to support Cycle for a Cause riders with some warm UA gear for their 1500+ mile bike ride from Seattle to San Diego to raise awareness and money for Shane McConkey, Billy Poole and Riley Poor starting October 3rd.  Donations are now being accepted online, please click here PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETES CYCLE FOR CHARITIES Local Utah and National Professional Freeskiers and extreme athletes unite in West Coast Bike Ride to raise money for injured and fallen athletes and their charities. Professional freeskiing athletes are on a mission the whole month of October along the Pacific Coast.  The “Cycle for a Cause” charity bike ride from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California has been established to raise money and awareness for fallen and injured individuals in the freeskiing community.  The 1500-mile ride has been organized to raise money for the Billy Poole Ski Foundation, which benefits the Local Boys and Girls Clubs of Salt Lake City, the Shane McConkey Fund in lieu of the Make a Wish Foundation, and the NTAF Spinal Cord Injury Fund in honor of Riley Poor. Utah freeskiing local, Billy Poole, was killed in a skiing accident here in Utah two years ago while filming with Warren Miller Entertainment.  Industry icon, Shane McConkey died this past winter in a Ski BASE Jumping accident while filming in Italy with Colorado’s Matchstick Productions.  Ski industry cinematographer, Riley Poor, sustained a paralyzing spinal cord injury last season while in Vermont at the Dew Tour, a freeskiing and snowboarding event. With the spinal cord injury of industry cinematographer Riley Poor and the deaths of industry icons Shane McConkey, and Utah local, Billy Poole, fellow professional freeskier/BASE Jumper, organizer, and Utahan, Max Kuszaj, felt that something needed to be done. “Losing two friends to skiing and then having a friend have a life-changing injury, really made me take a step back and realize what we do and what a tight-knit community we have with skiing.” “I organized this ride to do anything I can do to help those guys and benefit their families, try to make a change, and make the general public realize what goes on and what happens in the industry.” says organizer, Max Kuszaj. The ride is open to all and has attracted the participation of many other ski industry athletes, like Utah locals, Pep Fujas, Julian Carr, Cody Barnhill, Jesse Hall, and Suzanne Graham. Other athletes include: Sherry McConkey (Shane’s wife), Peter Olenick, Simon Dumont, Jackie Paaso, Chris Ernst, JT Holmes, and many others. A website has been established which includes how to donate, information, daily blogs, photos, videos and more about the ride. www.CycleforaCause.com People and companies are encouraged to donate per mile, to the cause, or using their own discretion. All money accumulated will be distributed evenly to the three organizations.
Typical summer stuff

Level 1 Refresh World Premiere in Denver
Posted by Scott Hibbert - Friday night was the world premiere of Level One’s 10th movie, Refresh. I guess Josh didn’t realize how big he has become over the last 10 years as the movie had to start an hour and half late due to the massive line of people waiting to get in. Under Armour athletes Tanner Rainville, Ahmet Dadali and Michael Clarke were signing autographs for fans while everyone was piling in to the theatre. UA athlete and Denver local Bobby Brown also came out to check out Berman’s new movie, hang out with friends and mingle with fans. Knowing Tom Wallisch would be at the premiere, I decided to give him a laugh and make a custom t shirt. I even got him to sign it for me. Refresh was an awesome movie with some old shots from back in the day when I used to shoot with Berman 10 years ago.  Sure makes me feel old, but good memories. If you didn’t get a chance to make it to the Denver premiere but live nearby, be sure to make it out to the Boulder show as you won’t be disappointed.  I know I will be there to see it again.
Summer riding in mt. Hood
Posted by Kyle Clancy - It’s a bit ridiculous out there these days. I’m all for being original but this is going to far!I’m always glad Under Armour has gone in a real direction with it’s snow gear and not tight ass jeans and smoking jackets.
