Mount St. Louis Moonstone and Smith Optics will be hosting its 2nd annual Pwned! The Battle for On Hill Supremacy event on Sunday, December 20th, as its original date of this Saturday, December 5th, was 'postpwned' due to lack of snow.

Newschoolers.com, has decided to celebrate their 10 year anniversary of being the biggest and raddest online community for freestyle skiers by partnering up with Smith and supporting the early season excitement in Ontario. Presented by Smith Optics, Pwned! is an official Newschoolers.com 10th year anniversary member gathering.

...which means Mr.Bishop himself will be there.

Event sponsors also include ORAGE, Dakine, HEAD and Mount St. Louis Moonstone, all will be throwing out box loads of free swag and prizes.

FREE SWAG!

The Smith Pwned event, which has an entry fee of $20, will feature a head to head ski slopestyle contest (or rail jam depending on what the weather has in store) where only the strongest of skiers will move on to the next round.

Everyone should be out on the hill come December 5th, as all ages are included. Divisions will include Pro and AM for the men, as well as a ladies division. No matter what the weather, expect the park crew at St. Louis to have a top-notch park up and running to get your jib skills dialed in the Junkyard terrain park.

Make sure to get to the Mount St. Louis lodge at 8:30 a.m. to register for the event, as only 80 spots are available, although everyone is welcome to kick back and enjoy the action and free swag tosses.

Reduced price lift tickets will be available to purchase at registration. If you are under 18 you will need a parent or guardian onsite to sign your waiver.

HELMETS ARE MANADATORY!

Official Newschoolers.com merchandise will also be on sale at registration so make sure to come early and grab up some exclusive NS tall tee’s for your Mom for Christmas so she can rock it harder than Harlaut.

Thats in 7 days from now... are you guys fucking kidding. or do you just not go outside or check the weather... what was the point of you putting up an add for somthing you know is not going to happen.

the reality is its been between plus 6 and plus 15 all month. their has not been one flake of snow.

their is no way in hell this comp is going to happen.

though it is a great idea. cause the parks here in Ontario are some of canadas best.

its just a shame that no one has looked at the web cams. i mean its not like their is going to be a different temp at the summit.. the whole hill is 500 ft.

Dude that seccond day is only 7 days after the first one. Their is acutually no snow. And it really is plus 10 today . They my as well just build a big dome over the whole thing and start making snow. It could work. But as for this natural snow thing I think that we are screwed here in the east. Jebus, it's better to plan something than to not have anything here in Ontario at all. We have been watching the web cams and all we can do is hope that the temperature is cold enough to have some snow for the 5th or the 12th. When we started planning this event months ago we didn't know for sure that we would have this weather.

The point of the event is to just get out and get on your skis, and have some fun.

If ya'll can build set ups in backyards in August then why not come out for an early season rail jam to hang with your homies and take home some swag?

We are going to keep you posted. You can also keep your eye on MSLM's website http://www.mslm.on.ca/ for opening info.

im sorry to sound so negative. its just the lack of snow really gets to me. i mean their literally has not been one flake of snow to date.

and i still dont know why they havent put up a snow dome up.

just think the roof could open in the winter letting in snow and shut in the summer to keep it in.

it would be perfect, all of Toronto would go. it would improve our quality of life.

i mean hey at least i have ideas. not like you guys what with you hoping and praying. thats not going to do it. we have to take action.

jebus, what about polson pier? I haven't checked it out in a while, maybe its not open. But Niagara has a dry slope (which is actually fully covered in snow now) and it is probably the best thing ever for pre season. niagarasnowpark.com. I guarantee that if at least you cant get your sticks wet, that website will get your dick wet.

Jebus, stop bitching. please. everybody wants a fucking snowdome but the reality is they are fucking expensive to build and maintain, and in a place where you can ski 4 months of the year on better terrain, it doesnt really seem economically feasible.
