Overall Amazing ski you have to know how to ski otherwise this ski will ski you. But if you do know how to ski (or are not a "strong" skier) this will be the best ski ever. Please note that this review only applies to the B-Squads in 189 & 194 lengths ONLY. The shorter ones have different shapes and different constructions and are completely different skis. Performance Amazing ski. I ski this ski daily and really enjoy it everywhere. It is not the best powder ski due to its incredibly stiff tip but still really good at powder. In crud this ski shines, it will simply bust through crap faster and more solidly than anything else. The faster you go the better it gets! Groomers dont suck either, and you will not go over the bars when landing a drop. Design Very nice solid construction, holds edges very well on ice. Mount point seems to be a little far forward though. Square tail is burly this skis like a real 189 no pussy twin/semi twin lengths here. Lack of sidecut makes easy to control the ski instead of the ski controling you Value Pretty good price for what you get. Good deals can be found on used gear now. Characteristics STIFF. Signifigantly stiffer than any other ski I have skied. The tip is slightly softer than the rest of the ski but still stiffer than any part of most other skis. The flex is very solid and inspires confidance for charging in all conditions. Durability Aired over a windlip on to rocks. LIGHT base scratches only (no core!). Full on highspeed impact with tree, no delam or softening of the ski.
