Overall I can't say that it is the #1 ski movie on my all time list, but deffinatley one of the best. Go Check It OUT!!! Value If a premiere comes to your town, it is definately worth the money to go check out. Content Anomaly is one of the better ski movies ever made. TGR did a really good job with this one. It was full of alot of Big Mountain stuff, but the lines were amazing. Candide and Sage threw it down. I was stoked throughout the whole movie. I know that some people that don't enjoy Big Mountain skiing don't enjoy the movie as much. It was way better than my expectations.
Overall Theory-3 has some great footage, they just need to get a little more variety into their shots, repetition gets a little bit boring, especially when the soundtrack is lacking. They still do a really nice job in the video editing side of things. Design The editing was really done well, in terms of the video. The soundtrack needs improvement. Still a pretty sick movie. Value I wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks for this movie. Content I was super stoked to see this movie. It isn't the best movie out this year in my opinion, but I have never been the biggest fan of Theory-3 movies. If you like other Theory-3 movies, this one is right up your alley. There are a lot of repeated rails over and over again, but there are some sick transfers and stuff. If the soundtrack were better the movie could have been much better as well.
Overall IF YOU CAN FIND IT, BUY IT INSTANTLY Value If This movie were still around, I would probably pay alot for it. Quality I know that 13 is earlier than 2002, but that is the earliest year that this review will let me do. Content This is one of the sickest ski movies ever made, I wish I still had it, I wish that VHS's didn't break over time. The soundtrack is sick, the skiing is sick, I don't know if I have ever been so stoked after watching a ski movie as I was after I saw this movie. Even though it is old, it will always be enjoyable in my opinion to watch.
Overall If you like a movie with little big mountain, but still a little, and some sick footage of everything, go buy this movie. Design The whole 90's porn theme was kinda trippin. Very well edited, very good music. Value I would buy it if I were you. Content Not the best production that Poor Boyz has put out, but is was sick nonetheless. JP Auclair has a sick segment. One of the best movies of the year.
Overall IF YOU CAN GET IT YOU SHOULD GET IT Performance This product is amazing, I think it was like 5 degrees Farenheit last week when I first took it skiing and i was super warm, plus it was super stylee. Design The Design is awesome, there is a magnet in the hood so that it doesnt come up in your face while doing switch cork 9's. The pit zips are super easy to grab, you can adjust them with your gloves on. The jacket is sick for skiing, and still sick enough to wear around town. Value Find it and Buy it Fit I love the fit, I bought it in a Large and it is a really loose fit. I am 5'11", 170 lbs and the Large fits dope. Durability I haven't used it enough to say, but all my Oakley stuff has endured
Overall I gave it a 10, not because it skis the entire mountain as a 10, but because it skis what it was designed for as a 10. Powder is a 10, freestyle BC is a 10, park is an 8, groomers is an 8, moguls is realy low, but it wasnt designed for that. If you like powder, you will love the VCT Performance If you are in Utah on a powder day this stick is for you, they are so much fun. Design The look is pretty dope, they are huge! Value I got them for alot less than most of you will ever pay for them, so I thought it was a very good deal. I would still probably buy a pair at full price. Characteristics For powder skiing the flex pattern is perfect. Softer in the nose than the Gotama but stiffer in the tail. The wood core makes it lively in the powder but a little planky when you are on groomers Durability They are holding up pretty good. They seem really burly
