I picked up these skis looking for something that would fit as a middle ski in between my park sticks and a fat pow skis. They have been AMAZING! I am keeping them out of the park to keep the edges sharp to make them ideal all mountain shredders. These skis are allowing me to have more fun that I ever thought riding the mountain. They have enough float to throw 180s off cliffs into some pow. Then I can lay down some serious carves on hardpack since the rocker is pretty mild and starts late on the ends of the ski. The flex is perfect for charging and keeps me very stable yet nimble when popping off jumps all around the hill through any kind of snow condition. I find myself with tons of confidence hitting cliffs and jumps with these, as well as a huge smile on my face. I can't say anything for the durability yet as I haven't ridden them enough, but I hope they last. I use JJs when it gets really deep, but I am finding myself grabbing these a lot more often than the JJs.

Overall I am completely converted from regular shape/camber park skis! I really love the performance of these skis. I felt like I was opened up to a new side of skiing I hadn't seen before the first day I rode them. I can't get the smile off my face! Performance I LOVE this design!!! I blew them off for many years because I did not see how these features would work well in a ski that wasn't made for powder. I wish I was less stubborn and tried a pair sooner! Turn initiation is effortless. I have never had as much control over my skis as I do with these. When skiing down steep mogully/choppy runs, I have amazing control over exactly where I want the ski to turn, and how much pressure I want to deliver. They never fight back. On rails they shine once again. The light swing weight and early rise make all my rail tricks come around much more consistently. I was weary of how they would perform on jumps, but again I am impressed. They still get just as much, or not more, pop than any other ski I've ridden. Forward landings are still stable and controlled. Sometimes switch landings would feel slightly more squirly, but not by much. Switch take offs are a bit more buttery and catch-free due to the tip shape which I definitely like. Design Honestly, I do feel like the elf shoe technology can look a little goofy, but with how great this ski performs, I couldn't care any less what the hell they look like! I'm having too much fun when I'm riding them! Value I picked up a used pair for cheap, because I wasn't sure if I would love or hate the "weird" design. But I will definitely be picking up a new pair once these die on me. Fit I am 6ft tall and the 182cm feels just about right. Characteristics The flex works great with the ski. It is still able to rail turns, even though the running surface is shorter than a regular camber ski. I feel plenty of support on jumps and an high speeds. But, they are also still playful. You get the best of both worlds: The ability to rail an edge like a stiff ski, and the playfulness and effortless control of a soft ski. Durability As is always the case with Armada, the ski is build very well. I have ridden Armada skis in the park for many years now and love their durability. Even though my pair is older and used, I still expect to ride them for a while before I need new skis.

Overall I am pleased with how well these perform, even though they don't boast the highly technical specs of many other pants. They do everything I could ask for, and I didn't have to break the bank. Performance Even though the pants are only 8K/8K, they still keep me dry and warm. I am in Utah, so the snow is usually pretty dry, but even during stormy conditions, they hold up great. Design These are nice and simple. I wanted some basic black pants, and these fit the bill well. 1 cargo and 2 hip pockets are just enough. The only complaint I have is that they could be a little longer. At 6ft, they still reach my boots with a little excess, but for aesthetic reasons, I could use a little more (pardon the lame term) "ankle steeze." Value I purchased mine from Backcountry's Department of Goods and got a great deal Fit This was my first pair of pants stepping down from the biggest, baggiest XXXXXL outerwear I wore for years. I wanted to take it down a notch and get something that still looked good on the hill, but was more practical and less ridiculous looking. Especially if we stopped by a restaurant to get some food on the way home. I got the XL and am happy with the more sensible fit. Durability The material used is very thick with a nice textile feel, so I can tell they are going to last. The extra leather reinforcement around the back of the cuff bottom is a nice touch to keep it from fraying easily.
