Overall I give it a nine as price is a little high for the average buyer, but i am sold on these skis and will be until i get my next pair. they are as durable as mad trix but without the 2x4 feel, great everywhere on the hill, look great and feel great. i love them. Performance These skis are solid skis in all conditions. Riding around the mountain and hide speed hops to switch are no problem. take them into the park (their home) and they handle big jumps just as well as half-pipe, and on rails they are smooth as butter, i can actually feel the rubber strip which is infused between core and egde which dampens vibration. Design the look of this product is amazing, i mean, jamacian flags! i got comments from skiers, boarders, old people, young kids, it is jest a great looking ski. the top sheet is also made of a durable material that has a rough feel and is very resistant to chipping/scratching. Value all movemetn skis are on the high side f pricing, and you get what you pay for. they are worth every dollar of their price and due to restraints in distribution, they will be priced the same wherever you go, unless you can talk to a rep and get a pair of demos. Characteristics This ski is a mid-stiff with lots of pop in it. you can butter and ollie but it will hold it's own ploughing through crud. It's all in the wood core of this ski, okume poplar, which is lightweight but durable. Durability these skis are built to beat. i had a pair from january to march and only at the end of march did i require a second pair for halfpipe. i have no breaks in my edges which is good as i do rails 50% of my time. at the end of the season my first pair still had the same pop and energy as when i frist put them on.

Overall This is the best all round ski I have ever been on. Where ever i took them i felt safe and secure. The remind me of the 05-06 Mojo except less stiff and more pop. They go anywhere and will make sure you have a great time while going there. They are built like the Diefenbunker, let us hope we don't have a nuclear attack to test their resolve, but they could probably take it. This is a great overall ski which is amazing in the park. I felt weird giving out a 10, and if there was a 9.5 i would have gone there, but they are better than a 9, so here we are. If the ski could be widened without giving up its strengths in the pipe and on rails it would be the cold fusion of skis. At the same time, this is designed as a park ski and not a powder ski and for this reason they get a perfect score for fulfilling their claim! Performance 9.5/10 The ski worked well everywhere. Cliff drops to elephant snot -- no problem; halfpipe -- the stiffness give it great stability at high speed; booter takeoff and landings -- so stable forwards and switch; flying over mougles -- like a race ski on ice; on the steel -- these were made for rails; in the pow -- could be wider... but good enough for most days at most ski resorts. Design 10/10 The topsheet graphic is the sexiest image ever put on a ski. Hands down no one will beat it until Movement puts a lesbian couple gentle caressing each others breasts on next years Kama's while I stand in profile just off to the side (I can dream). I love the attention and discussion this graphic brings, and the snake skin texture tops it off with class. The ski is also super light while maintaining its durability. Value 10/10 You pay for quality and you get it. The previous models last season after season. This year should as well. They are definitely worth the price and the Custom VIST made Movement 614 matching bindings are amazing. I set mine at 8 and only pop out when I think i should. They work at DIN 12 like a nut and bolt. Worth the price! Characteristics The KamaSutra is another stiff ski from Movement with lots of pop. The woodcore kept it's life all through the summer, and since it is the same construction as years past (tough as hell) I will wager 18.50$ that the pop will last into the future. The flex is amazing for all conditions. Durability 10/10 Edges did not crack even with a blunt forced bend and rocky fix. I have not broken an edge out in three heavy seasons of using the Kama. The base is solid and the top sheet is nearly impenetrable.

Overall For a park ski they are great and to get around the mountain they are grand. I can't give a ten as they are not perfect, their powder performance is not up to powder ski standard. I would say this is what keeps them from being perfect, even though they are not claiming to be a powder ski. They are bulletproof in a way that kevlar was better than solid steel: lighter and more maneuverable but will still last the entire clip. This is a great park ski though I could use a little more width (and found it in the Kama Sutra). Performance 8.5/10 The ski worked well in almost every condition that i attempted (a little narrow at 113-80-105 for powder, they could still take Ontario pow). Sliding rails is smooth and you can feel the ski lock on. I have not broken on edge off of the Joystick ever. Over the entire summer on the Whistler Glacier i did not even crack an edge. I did, however, bend the tail end edge into the base by hitting the upright support on a lipslide attempt. I was able to fix it to new like playdough and it did not give me any other problems, even though the lipslide did. With the stiffness of the ski the halfpipe is great. You can fly into your hits with no chatter and land with stability. Due to the park appropriate width of the ski landing off kickers in softer snow was a little shaky, but onto solid landings they were solid. Design 8/10 The topsheet graphic is amazing. It is embossed graffiti style, with great colours. I can't read what it says on it, so i hope I'm not promoting cat kicking or anything. The ski is also light while maintaining its durability. Value 10/10 You pay for quality and you get it. The previous models last season after season. This year should as well. They are definitely worth the price and the VIST made Movement 614 bindings are amazing. I set mine at 8 and only pop out when I think i should. They work at DIN 12 like a nut and bolt. Worth the price. Characteristics The joystick is a stiff ski with lots of pop. The woodcore kept it's life all through the summer, and since it is the same construction as years past (tough as hell) I will wager $14 dollars that the pop will last into the future. Close to asymmetrical construction finds the tip and the tail of similar flexes. I ride a 1 cm back of center mount and the ski rides the same both ways. Durability 10/10 Edges did not crack even with a blunt forced bend and unbend. I have not broken an edge out in three heavy seasons of using the Joysticks, and my current street skis (05-06 joysticks are still intact after concrete ledges).

Overall I love this as a lightweight touring binding with full freeride capabilities including switch skiing.  the only issue i have had with this binding is that it released when i tried to do a nosepick in the mud on the side of happy valley at blue mountain in april.... a great binding! Performance this was a lightweight touring bindings which took pretty much everything i gave to it.  it is good for all levels of skiers, is easy to adjust and performs like traditional, non-touring bindings - even better than some. Design it is a good looking binding... Value it is a pricey piece of equipment though compared to its competitor the duke by marker, it is reasonably priced.  of course, as is common with European wares, you get what you pay for, and if you want quality, you will have to pay for it. Characteristics The release on these is like any other freeride binding out there - not at all like most other touring bindings.  It releases on a standard DIN setup and has OVERCOME the release problem of previous models where a quick dip used to sometimes cause the binding to release. Durability i gave it shit and could not even scratch it!
