Overall If you're willing to take a small chance on a ski that can be used anywhere on the mountain, you should really purchase this ski. I promise you that you wont be dissapointed with this ski. Its not that exspensive on their site right now at $450 and it comes with a 2 year warrenty. If you're looking for the best park ski that also slays the backcountry this is the ski for you. Oh yea and this ski is rediculously light but stable. You should get it. Performance These skis preformed twice as good as I thought they were going to and after the first time I was totally in love with this ski. The bamboo core truly is amazing and gives the ski such a light but stable feel you'll want to become a pandabear! spinning is basically effortless and landing isn't that hard either. If you're just getting into freestyle or are pulling cork 10s you'll love the performance of this ski. Design The graphic is steezy and innovative and there deffinently isn't the same type of graphic out there. The topsheet does chip quite easily but it is Bluehouse's first year so there is bound to be a few problems. The edge on the ski holds up well underneath but unfortunately my first pair had the edges come out of the tips. But that was no problem because Bluehouse's amazing costumer service and wonderful warentee got me hooked up with a new pair and they even HAND DELIVERED them to me right in park city. There isn't many ski companies that would do that. Once again i'll brag about the Bamboo core and tell you its absolutely amazing and you'll love it. This ski is also just fat enough you can rip big lines with ease but still feel comfortable in the park and not overwelmed with a gigantic ski beneath your feet. For a ski companies first year i was deeply impressed and I will definently buy from them again. Value I bought mine during the big sale in september for 250 and I easily would've paid 400 for these amazing skis. I think its a great deal and bluehouse should back up their warranty if something bad were to happen so I would say YES these skis are deffinently alot of bang for your buck! Fit I got the 171 size and that goes to just a bit below my forhead. I like my skis just a bit shorter so its perfect size for me but for you taller folks there is a 179 model with just a reverse coloring on the topsheet. The 179 model, skis just the same and has the same dimensions (125/93/120) Characteristics The bamboo core makes for some different flex but after half a run on these i was already used to it and I loved it. The ski feels super soft when your just flexing it in your room but to my surprise (at least for me) the ski skied a bit stiffer. Not too stiff but just about right. Great for buttering and pressing but yet firm enough to hold its ground on jumps. You'll deffinentaly love the bamboo core on this because it makes the ski rediculously light a super easy to spin of rails and jumps. Durability Well this is where my rating goes from a 10 to an 7 and then jumps up to 9 because of Bluehouse's amazing costumer service and warrenty. My first pair lasted a whole 15 days before one ski delaminated, but i did ride them extremely hard. My second pair has lastest another 12 days and there is alot chipping but no major problems. But the chipped topsheet does not effect the ability of the ski so I don't think its that big of a deal. But keep in mind this is Bluehouse's first year so there will be some problems but the guys over there will treat you right and listen to what you have to say about the ski and the improvements to make. Bluehouse will not leave you out to dry but will treat you right.
