Just got a pair of these mounted onto some Rocker 2's 122s at a size of 192cm and somehow managed to take the heel piece off on my first day out on them. It was a sick powder day and I had taken about 5 runs on them. I went for a Misty 7 off a ledge and over rotated, landing sideways. One ski ejected properly but the other had the heel pice and brake removed. Made this binding feel less trustworthy for me. I have heard of this kind of thing happening to other people. Not a binding for people who really charge it on the mountain. Stick with the STH 16s.

Overall The 175 4FRNT VCT's are a great ski! They are really fun to ski. If you like descently wide skis then these are the skis for you. Handles everywhere great! Performance The VCT's perform very well in the powder. They are pretty good on boxes. They are fun on the groomers. They have a wide turning radius. Perform very well switch. And are overall a great ski. Design The design of the VCT's is very nice. I really like the shape of the ski. The graphics are really sick! Value It was worth the money. Maybe it was a little bit expensive. I paid $600 for them which is pretty good. Usually they are a $700 dollar ski though. I have not tried the ski to its full potential, so Im not shure if it is worth the money. Characteristics The flex is a MEGA core, which is a maple core. It is a pretty solid core but the skis are pretty flexy. I mounted my 175 VCT's an inch back from symmetrical center and they work great.I could butter mine, but it is a bit tricky. The nose is softer than the tail. Durability I have tried them for two days and already the top sheet is chipping off a little bit. I have a couple chips on the tips of my skis and a couple chips in the mid section of the ski. The chips are probably from my skis hitting each other.

Overall The 1080 is a good ski, but its not the best. Its kind of outdated, but it was good back in its day. For being one of the first twin-tip skis, its pretty good. Performance The performance of the ski is good. It slides rails really well. Its pretty fast too. But the switch skiing is pretty tricky. Design The design is alright. Pretty lame though. Not very much detail. The robot things are cool though. Value If you can get the ski for about $150, its a good deal. But if theres a pair for over $250, its not worth it. Characteristics The flex pattern isnt the best. It has a medium flex. Not the best for butters. But it works pretty well for butters. Durability Its a strong ski. Mine are still in good condition and Ive been using them for 2 seasons.

Overall I dont know about these bindings. I mean they are really cool bindings, but I only had them for for days and they already broke. So they aren't that great. I just hope that 4FRNT replaces my toe-piece. Performance Release is really good. I had no problem releasing when I fell. Design The design is pretty cool. I like the design. Value I broke my toe-piece the fourth day skiing on them. This really sucks. I paid $220 on them so thats really shitty. But they do come with a 1 year warranty. Durability These bindings dont hold up. Like I said. The toe-piece broke on my fourth day skiing on these bindings.
