The Armada scout jacket is one of the best jackets I've ever had. This jacket offers a long, thin fit that is perfect for your taller skier. It also offers a very clean one color design with accents of different colors and materials (for example the fur hood that is removable). You can definitely tell armada took their time to make a jacket designed for the consumer. But this jacket is not perfect, on a really wet/ snowy day you will find that the jacket doesn't bead and roll ff the jacket but instead will soak into the first layer of the outerwear. This will leave you with a very heavy jacket by the end of the day and also you will find that your outer-zip pockets may be wet by the end of the day. With that said, the innards of the jacket stays dry and comfortable. This jacket offers Armada's Long Fit design which is great for a taller skier but for anyone else would just be too big. This is a jacket where you shouldn't go for the biggest size available to get that big and steezy, retro jacket look. This jacket is also a great shell to wear on warm and windy days along with crisp sunny mornings, on the warmer days it allows you to have ventilation along the arm pits that are very clutch. All in all this is a great jacket!
couldn't be more happy purchasing this jacket. warm, strong, and steezy. this thing is super long. bought a large and it was down to almost past my knees
