I had the chance to buy some of these cheap on some end of season sales last year so I pulled the trigger on them. Previously I had only owned aluminium poles and went through a few pair, as they had been pretty easy to bend and break from typical park falls onto them.

Being composite they definitely live up to their hype on the durability. I've had several falls where the poles become sandwiched between my body and a rail, and they're still as straight as they were from day one. Cosmetically they have held up quite well to and the paint seems to chip far less than my aluminium ones.

The simple, BMX style grip on them is quite nice as well especially if you ride with mitts.

Style wise, they're poles... Armada kept it simple which is good in my books.
