I rode the Chairman from December to May last season. I was coming off the PM Gear Lhasa pow 196 and 189 Hellbents as well as some Dynastar Legend 105s from a while back. I also have attended numerous product demos in the last 7 seasons and skied Blizzard Chochise, Rossignol Squad 7, K2 Sidestash, DPS Wailer 112. The Chairman had a stiff flex with a bit of compliance in the front for crud busting stability at speed. Weight was not spectacularly light by any means when compared with "backcountry" skis, but when compared with any ski I can think of in the "big mountain charger" ski category it is spectacularly light. The low rise tips lead to absolutely no tip chatter even while charging and float amazingly in all varieties of snow conditions. The ski's carving performance was top notch due to high torsional rigidity. This was truly the most fun ski I've ever skied.
