Scott Wintersport team skier, Iannick B., successfully defended his crown at the 2005 World Ski and Snowboard Festival. Before a crowd of thousands and a steady rain, Iannick kept his composure, delivered a succession of clean tricks and won his second consecutive WSSF Urban Rail Session.

Scott USA welcomes Mammoth skier Tim Russell to the family. Tim has been on fire, winning both the Gravity Games and the Vermont Open Rail Jams. His dominance in both events proves that he is a force to be reckoned with. Tim also placed a respectable 7th place in the slopestyle at the Gravity Games and charged onto the podium with a 2nd place finish in the Vermont Open slopestyle.

Scott Wintersport launches back into the U.S. ski market with six skis catering to the freeride/freestyle market. After six successful seasons selling skis in Europe, Scott viewed the 2005-2006 season as the perfect opportunity to break into the US market. Scott skis will be available in a limited release to specialty retailers in New England, the Pacific Northwest, California, Utah and Colorado.
