Bush? Kerry? Apestead?

The staff here at NS wants to encourage all eligible NS members to vote in the U.S. election on Nov. 2.

Even if you're not eligible or not an American citizen, you've probably heard this same speech a thousand times in the past few months. We hate to be repetitive, but the message is an important one for all of us: young Americans need to be represented in this election. The youth vote is underestimated by the analysts of both parties, and that means that young voters aren't only not targeted in political campaigns, but that elected officials don't pay enough attention to issues affecting to the youth community- like tuition costs, the future of Social Security and the war in Iraq.

Bottom line: vote because you can, and because NS tells you to.
