Vibey Clothing
was recently started by two Pepperdine grads in Malibu, CA. Vibey is focused on the rad Vibes of shredding, carving deep powder lines, hitting gnarly kickers and then sharing the stoke with others. “Ultimately, it’s all about having a great time, enjoying the day and the company of your best friends, and spreading the good Vibes!“ says Wojtek Peliks, founder of the company.

The extra tall hoodies made by Vibey are perfect for staying warm on cold snowy days, staying light during park laps, and looking steezy when you cruise up to the lift. So if you’re tired of being cold and can’t afford the usual hundred dollar gear you can pick one up at getvibey.com.

More importantly, Vibey is all about communicating a lifestyle. It’s about being on the mountain with friends and enjoying what you’re doing.  “It’s not about being the best, but about having the raddest time and positively impacting those around you,” contributes Niles.

Vibey is also making strides to partner with organizations that work to protect the mountains, oceans, and people of this planet; as that’s where their good vibes come from. So on your next trip up the mountain soak in the good Vibes, spread ‘em all around, get stoked, and get Vibey!

I first met CR last summer at COC in Whistler, BC and it was a dream come true. Growing up in the ski world i looked up to CR as one of my biggest inspirations and and one of my great role models.  When i found out that we would be skiin together, it was a feeling i cant describe.  Cr was truly one of the nicest and most caring people i have ever met.  He was drivin, hardworking, fun, and overall an amazing person. Hanging out with CR on and off the hill was literally a life changing expreience, i never thought i could learn so much from one person in that short amount of time.  The way CR talked about his experiences and what he had gone through astonished me because he was so positive and always saw the good in everything, never the negatives.  I came away from my trip to whistler with a new friend and a whole new look on life thanks to CR.  He will be sorely missed and never forgotten, he is a legend to skiing and his name will live on forever.  Rest in Peace CR, One Love.

Brian Finestone's Park Report - Mar 13, 2008

Brian Finestone's Park Report - Mar 13, 2008

Mar 14th 2008

THE STOKE IS AGELESS Surfers coined the term stoke to represent to exhilaration felt by anyone feeling the flow of riding waves. The feeling of being stoked has transcended beyond surfing and can be achieved by anyone who feels the flow of sliding effortlessly on snow or through thin mountain air. The ultimate sensation of being stoked comes from the feeling you get when you stomp that elusive trick you have been trying and slide away clean for the first time.  You can get stoked for someone else when they nail a new trick too. I have seen the look in the eyes of a person who gets stoked on riding for the first time; it is obvious regardless of whether they are four or forty. It is this feeling that keeps us coming back for more, it is the search for the stoke that gets us trying new tricks each day in the park, with the knowledge that the feeling is moments away.

C.R. Johnson: 1983-2010

C.R. Johnson: 1983-2010

Feb 25th 2010

It's difficult to put into words what the world lost yesterday in the passing of C.R. Johnson, who at the age of 26 succumbed to injuries sustained in a fall at his home resort of Squaw Valley, CA. Beyond being a good friend to Redbullskiing.com and an amazing athlete, C.R. embodied what it meant to be a genuine person. I've never had the pleasure of knowing someone who was as friendly, approachable, humble, and positive as C.R. was. He was that rare kind of person who comes through your life and leaves you a better human being because of it. Our thoughts go out to C.R.'s family, friends, and the ski community as whole. We miss you terribly, C.R. Thank you for the time you granted us and the things you taught us we will never forget.
