Beartooth Open Comp Announced

Where: Twin Lakes Headwall near Red Lodge, Montana

How: Go Big

High in the big sky at 10,900 feet above sea level, The Beartooth Open will be talking place Saterday, June 21st at the Twin Lakes Headwall atop the Beartooth Pass near Red Lodge, Montana. This slopestlye jam will feature rails with booter option, dual table tops( medium and huge), and 1/4 pipe to finish. Terrain features will be designed and built by; Greg Tufflemire,
Nick Mercon, Lance Pitman, and Dan Forsberg along with the Jackson Hole pipe and park crew. Cash and prizes from DaKine, Salomon, Jackson Hole and a guy named Doug.


The Beartooth Open is presented by: Freeskier magazine, Newschoolers.com, and Empire Freeride.

Event Schedule:
· 9:00am– registration opens in Red Lodge
· 10:00am– registration closes
· 10:00am- 12:00pm – open practice
· 12:00pm- 1:00pm· Groom terrain – lunch break
· 1:00pm - 4:00pm Slopestlye Jam
· 6:00pm awards and party in Red Lodge

Format: Best of 3 runs during Slopestyle Jam.
Judge Criteria: tech, style, creativity
