Happy New Year! Now that you’re back to work, we thought we’d give you something to distract you for a few minutes. It’s with great pleasure that we announce the short film “Whistler Blackcomb XXS,” a day in the life of a miniature Whistler, the biggest little ski area in the world.

This video, filmed at a bird’s eye view on location in Whistler Village and surrounding Whistler Blackcomb mountains, documents a day in the life of this winter wonderland; making the town and mountains appear like a real-life snow globe.

XXS was filmed, edited and produced by Switchback Entertainment. This style of cinematography - which makes people, places and things appear like tiny miniature models - was inspired by stop motion & tilt shift photography techniques. We hope you enjoy the video and pass it along.
