Benchetler Self Edit

Nimbus Independent is launching another series of web edits free of charge. The movies will showcase the individual skiers involved in the Nimbus Project. For the past three years Chris Benchetler, Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre, Anthony Boronowski, Eric Pollard, and Blake Nyman have dedicated their seasons to Nimbus.

This new rider-edited series is Nimbus’s way to allow each skier to showcase their entire season's worth of footage. Skied, produced, and edited by the rider himself.

The first edit we are releasing is from Chris Benchetler. He has played an integral part in pushing the limits of skiing in the backcountry.

This past season Mr. Benchetler focused on skiing natural terrain, chasing storms and hitting backcountry jumps. We will be releasing more rider-edited segments over the next few months, so stay tuned.

On December 12th we will continue our En Route Webisode series with the third installment for Season 3: “ En Route Plan B”. Plan B was originally scheduled to document skiing in the Southern Hemisphere, but weather and injury changed our plans. Instead, Plan B documents the Nimbus crew changing from plan a; traveling south of the equator, to plan b; sliding on a strato volcano in Oregon, a bit of cold-water wave riding, some epic heli shots from Germany, and grade a next level Mt Hood park shredding. So make sure to stay tuned!
