Final Call For Auditions at the 2010 Toyota One Hit Wonder Down Under

Skiers and snowboarders have just one week left to submit their audition for the chance to compete in Australia’s most watched skiing and snowboarding big-air competition, the Toyota One Hit Wonder Down Under event.

To be eligible to compete alongside 2009 ski and snowboard champions Bine Zalohar and Robbie Walker, athletes must film their best trick and email a high-quality video link (such as yousendit.com) to auditions@onehitwonderevent.com by 20th August 2010.

“The Toyota One Hit Wonder Down Under Event is the biggest cash offering on the Australian snow sports calendar with a prize pool of $10,000 up for grabs. We’ve been stoked by the auditions we’ve received so far and I can guarantee the competition is certainly going to be fierce this year,” said Toyota One Hit Wonder Down Under Event Director Tim Myers.

Finalists will compete in Thredbo from the 14th to 18th September.

Each finalists best ‘one-hit’ from the event will be filmed and uploaded to www.onehitwonderevent.com, where everyone has until the 10th October to vote for their favorite and decide who will be crowned the 2010 Toyota One Hit Wonder Down Under ski and snowboard champions.

By voting, consumers go into the draw to win the ‘Ultimate Winter Package’, including an all-expenses-paid holiday to Niseko Japan for two valued at $6,200, thanks to DEEP POWDER TOURS Ski Holidays and a Salomon ski and snowboard equipment package, valued at $3,800.
