MOUNTAIN HIGH LETS LOOSE WITH LATE SEASON SPECIALS

Wrightwood, CA – March 17, 2010: Mountain High is home to not one, but three different resorts offering 16 lifts, 59 trails, and 290 acres of fantastic terrain. Thanks to El Nino, they are celebrating the longest season in years with an unprecedented nine storms and more than 13 feet of natural snow. And there is more to come. The best thing about Mountain High is the drive. Located just 20 minutes off Interstate 15, Southern Californian’s won’t find an easier route to the snow anywhere. The road consists of well-maintained state highways and, because you don’t reach the snow level until shortly before the resort, chains or 4-wheel drive are seldom required.

This spring Mountain High is enticing guests with terrific late season specials designed to keep them riding longer, better, and stronger. See below for three money-saving offers and visit http://www.mthigh.com/rates/ticketdeals.html for a full list of late season discounts.

1) Purchase an adult 8-Hour Ticket. Receive a FREE Group Lesson*!
Mountain High’s Group Lessons are an hour and 45 minutes long, and open to everyone from beginner skiers to advanced snowboarders. Valued at $30.00, this program is perfect for anyone who is looking to improve their skills, especially in light of the recent winter games. Lessons are offered at 10am or 1pm at the West Resort, and guests are advised to arrive at least an hour early.

2) Purchase a Full Day Children’s Academy Session. Receive a FREE adult 8-Hour Lift Ticket*!
Mountain High’s award-winning Children’s Academy makes winter fun a priority for both kids and parents. At $95.00, the Full Day Session includes a children’s lift ticket, rentals, lunch, and an individualized progress card. Plus, when purchased anytime between now and the end of the season, guests also receive one FREE adult 8-Hour ticket, valued at $55.00. Free ticket must be used the same day.

3) Show a 2009/10 Season Pass from another winter resort. Receive an adult 8-Hour Lift Ticket for just $30*. Mountain High is so proud of its conditions, they are eager to show them off. Now through the end of the season, present a season pass from any competing resort and get an adult 8-Hour lift ticket for just $30.00. You save $25.00! Limit one ticket per pass per day. A valid photo ID is required.

*Offers may be purchased at any ticket window. Not valid in conjunction with any other discount or promotion. Tickets and lessons may not be exchanged for cash or other products or services.

Mountain High is committed to providing the best possible winter experience for its guests. With more snow expected early next month, the Wrightwood resort plans to remain open until late April if not early May. Join us for what promises to be the best season in years, and save some money with Mountain High’s late season specials.

Mountain High is Southern California’s closest winter resort located just an hour and a half from Los Angeles and Orange County. The area consists of three separate mountains (Mountain High East, West, and North), and offers a wide variety of lifts and trails, the world class Faultline Terrain Park, and the region’s largest tubing park. Snowmaking covers more than 80 percent of the slopes, and the resort operates seasonally from November to April. Guests can get up to the minute snow and weather conditions at mthigh.com.
