Red Bull Cold Rush People's Choice & Re-Cut

The fourth annual Red Bull Cold Rush took place last week at the fabled cat skiing operation of Retallack, BC. You've drooled over the photos, watched the vids over and over, and seen who emerged victorious at www.newschoolers.com/redbullcoldrush...but the fun has just begun, because now it's your turn to take part in the event.

In conjunction with Red Bull, we proudly present you two contests following the conclusion of the iconic backcountry event...

First up, the People's Choice Award. The riders have spoken, and chose Sean Pettit and Suz Graham as the 2010 Red Bull Cold Rush Champions. And now it's your turn to vote for your favorite.

After you've checked out everything that went down, vote for your favorite athlete until the extended deadline of Sunday, April 11th, and shortly thereafter the winner of the coveted Red Bull Cold Rush People's Choice Award and $1000 in cold hard cash will be announced.

And that's not all. Keep in mind that just for voting, originally you were going to be entered into a draw to win a Dakine backpack full of awesome stuff, but now that prize has been changed to an EPIC Stealth Camera! So enter now!

Also now up and running is the Re-Cut contest. Now that you've seen all the videos, if you're turn to grab the footage and have at it!

A selection of footage from Cold Rush is now available for download on the Red Bull Cold Rush Re-Cut contest page also right here on NS. Head on over, download it, and then cut your own Cold Rush highlight reel.

You must be 18 years old or older to enter, and submissions should be no longer than two minutes and must be uploaded by the also extended deadline of 11:59pm PST on April 8th, 2010.

Once uploaded, your video will be judged by a jury of your peers – the Newschoolers community – and the winner will be determined on Thursday, April 15th, 2010.

The grand prize includes a trip to Retallack Lodge to apprentice on a photo or film shoot in 2011!
