European Freeski Open by Swatch 2010 - Rider Registration Begins on 4th January 2010

(LAAX/SUI) – Freeskiers from around the globe are looking forward to ride for top honors and celebrate the 5th anniversary of the European Freeski Open by Swatch from March 3-6, 2010, in LAAX, Switzerland. The most recognized and valuable open event in Europe offers $50,000 US prize money for the best riders in the freestyle disciplines Slopestyle and Halfpipe.

For amateur freeskiers who want to compete against the top pros, online rider registration is open from January 4, 2010, until February 8, 2010 at www.laax.com/freeskiopen. There are about 220 starting spots in the open qualifications, so all of the interested riders, men and women 14 years and up, should jump at the chance and register for the European Freeski Open by Swatch 2010.
