The Backyard Battle is back for another year and I, for one, cannot wait any longer! With a Big Air comp and a rail jam (known as the Candy Invitational) on the bill it’s going to be an event that puts fun ahead of winning. It’s called the Backyard Battle because, obviously, it’s built in Andreas Hatveit’s backyard! If only we could all boast a set up like the one he’s working on. Kicking off on April 3rd and going all the way through to the 7th I’m hoping that this year will be the best yet. It’s heading into it’s third year and looks like it’ll carry on for sometime with the list of riders that keep coming back.Riders: Jossi Wells (NZ) James Woods (GBR) Klaus Finne (NOR) – 2010 Winner Oskari Raitanen (FIN) Niklas Eriksson (SWE) Jeremy Pancras (FRA) PC Fosse (NOR) Oscar Scherlin (SWE) Sigborn Tveit (NOR) Elvis Harsheim (NOR) Gaute Silseth (NOR) Benjamin Forthun (NOR) Ole Mustad (NOR) Jon Olsson (SWE) – only attended the big air finalSo that’s a pretty sweet list of riders and the prep for the jumps has already begun. Here’s a little edit from SkiFilm following Andreas and getting the inside scoop. Eyes peeled on SkiUnion for the latest!MPORA Action Sports >>Related posts:Andreas Hatveit and his own backyard setup …looks like its going to be better than most snowparks....Andreas Hatveit takes the ‘backyard’ setup to a new level!
