New in 2009, the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival is pleased to present ThreePointOh, a mixed media competition. If video killed the radio star, then digital killed the slide show. This new multimedia event will present a series of 3-5 minute pieces that morph film, photo, graphics, visual art, theatre and the yet-to-be determined into a production greater than the sum of its parts.
An esteemed panel of judges will review the submissions and select six to ten finalists to be shown to the public in Whistler, BC during a gala evening on Monday, April 20th as part of the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival. A panel of judges will select one winner, Best of Show, which will win a minimum of $2500 in cash and prizes. The audience will also choose a People’s Choice winner.
