All Things Voleurz

"In a rundown basement among paint fumes and stencils, a T-shirt was made; an idea formed. In 2003, Voleurz was born, and now in '08, we're launching our first colleciton. Voleurz is none to serious, it's bright and it's fun, for we are alchemists working with high 5's and a boundless creativity."

Voleurz is not a clothing company. Voleurz is not a production comapny. Nor are they professional toestanders or partiers (even though it seems so at times). They are a group of friends who all share the same passion for being outside with their buddies and having the best time possible while doing so. Skiers such as Josh Bibby, Joe Schuster, Cam Schuster, Justin Dorey, Josh Stack, Jeff Boake, Riley Leboe and Matt Margetts join others who shred on snowboards, skateboards, bikes, behind the lens, in front of the canvas, with instruments, and most importantly, on a GT...all to form Voleurz.

Even though they love to have a good time and party, they also know how to take care of business. The men of Voleurz worked hard all winter long designing their much anticipated fall clothing line and making their new movie, Outdoor Education, all the while putting a smile on your face with many a stories, photos and videos from the crew that we all love to love.

The fall clothing line consists of 11 men's products, 4 women's products and assorted toques and bandanas for all to enjoy. The entire online catalogue can be seen here, and as you may have noticed, all items can now be purchased in the newly designed NS Store. What sets Voleurz apart from your typical clothing company is that all their items are designed and created with such detail that they will actually blow your mind when you get to see and feel the finished product. Only a very limited amount of products were produced, so you can almost ensure that you'll be the only guy with all the chicks around your arm asking you how you're so fly.

Not only are they selling their product online exclusively through Newschoolers, they also want to hook you guys up with a ton of free product! That's where the toestanding contest comes into play. In case you've been living in an igloo for the past two years and have no idea what toestanding is, head over to the facebook group and check it out, it's only the sickest thing since the high five.

What is toe standing?

Toe standing is a lifestyle. It helps you look at the world differently. Your walk to work will no longer be boring and uneventful! Once you get accustomed to standing on your toes you'll begin to see toe standing stunts everywhere.

How do I start Toe Standing?

It's really very simple all you need are a nice pair of shoes, a flat surface and peace of mind. Lean forward onto your toes. Congratulations you've just stood on your toes. Now try Toe Standing somewhere else, high up, down low, on a mountain. Toe Standing has the potential to be done anywhere -- have fun with it" - the Toe Standing Team

Rules
Take a picture, and post it in the contest section. Voleurz will choose and announce the winners via video at the same time they release Outdoor Education.

Prizes
Winner of "Best Overall Toestand" will receive a full Voleurz clothing setup and a copy of Outdoor Education. All other category winners will receive a headwear setup along with a copy of Outdoor Education.

So now that you know what the contest is about, I bet you're wondering what's the deal with Outdoor Education? Well, before I go into any details you might as well peep their video at the top of the article.

In addition to all this, in the next few weeks we will be prepping one of the greatest events EVER. It will be epic, it will be wild...it will be a Voleurz movie night. They will be having their online world premiere right here on Newschoolers, with live athlete Q&A, contests and giveaways. A week prior to the big night we will drop another Voleurz article which will announce the currently TBD date of the movie premiere, along with an interview done by NS and our members (so if you have any questions for the Voleurz boys, post them in here), and they will announce the winners of the toestanding competition.
