Montreal, Quebec, September 29th - Kombi has named professional freeskier and nine-year Kombi team factory rider, John Emberly, as factory team manager. Emberly’s passion and dedication to the sport, culture, and lifestyle of freeskiing makes him a natural fit for the brand that prides itself on quality, innovation, and tradition since 1961.

Emberly had this to say “I see my new role as a challenge, one that will allow me to work directly with other Kombi riders to develop and create the most dominant product and factory team in the industry. My goal is to look for riders who full on charge on and off the snow. Riders who share the same passion and love for the sport that I do who can help lead the brand into the future.”

Emberly, is currently finishing up his segment with Darkside Productions for their new flick, Better than Pretty Good, to be released this November. He explains his future attention and direction will be more focused on filming and less on competition. He is excited with the possibilities the future will bring with his new role as manager. “I feel Kombi has the potential to explode. We have some great riders on our current team, not to mention our new team updates coming this fall. I’m stoked to ride, chill, and work with developing new product designs to add a little flavor. Kombi is an amazing brand with great, supportive people working behind the scenes. In my role, I want to use our team to bring it the respect and attention it rightfully deserves.”
