March 29^th and 30^th 2008, ORFORD FREERIDERS (Team OFR) organizes a Freestyle competition at Mont Orford in collaboration with Orage and Illusion sports. A Slope style set-up will be created for the event. The Freeskiing competition will take place on Saturday March 29^th and the Snowboard competition will be on Sunday March 30^th. The event is an amateur competition, the categories for all ages are as follows: 13 and under (male), 13 and older (male), girls (all ages) and pros category.

The contest will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm both days. Contest sign up and entry will take place in the morning each day at 8 o’clock, inside the main lodge. Entry forms and competition details are available at the website www.teamofr.com. BBQ and spring activities will go on at Base Mountain, in front of the competition course. About 120 competitors are expected for the week end.

The top 3 finalists in each category will receive gift prizes. Participation prizes will be awarded to each contestant. (No cash prizes will be given out.) The grand winner of the Freeski competition will receive a Faction Skis sponsorship for 2008 – 2009. This winner will become a Faction Skis pro rider for the province of Quebec.
