$25,000 CHOLULA TRIPLE AIR SHOW RETURNS TO MOUNTAIN HIGHhttp://www.mthigh.com/media_kit/content/pages/tripleair08.html  Wrightwood, CA – February 19, 2008:  This Saturday, February 23rd, the $25,000 Triple Air Show returns to Mountain High.  With $20,000 for the men and $5,000 for the women, the Cholula Triple Air Show and Monster Boarder Babes presented by Powder and Sun is one of the richest one-day snowboarding events in California.  The top 16 men and top 6 women will enjoy the pay out with the top man taking home $10,000 and the top woman taking home $2,000.  Past participants include Shaun White, Blaise Rosenthall, Matt Hammer, Gabe Taylor, and more. Says John McColly, Director of Marketing, “The Triple Air is where we shine.  It’s our largest event of the season and we have riders coming from as far away as Utah and Colorado.” The Cholula Triple Air Show is a modified big air contest.  Not one but three enormous jumps stand between the rider and the podium. Participants are judged on their overall performance which includes technical difficulty, amplitude, and execution.  This year’s event consists of 2 divisions: Open Class Men and Open Class Women.  Entry is $150 and includes a lift ticket, complimentary breakfast and lunch, raffle, awards party and much more. Registration takes place from 6:30 am to 9:00am in the Big Pines base lodge at the West Resort.  Practice starts at 9:00am, and the event begins at 10:30am.  Pre-registration is not available and HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. After the event, all competitors are treated to a huge raffle plus an after party in the Bullwheel Bar & Grill.  This year’s after party features the So Hot Olympics with models, games, drinks and more from sohothotties.com.  Entry is $15.00 for the general public but Triple Air participants get in for free. Triple Air sponsors include Cholula Hot Sauce, Powder and Sun, Monster Energy Drink, Wahoo’s, Kern’s Nectar, Toyota, and the USASA, without which this event would not happen.Â
