2008 Salomon Jib Academy Registration is Live!

The Highly Anticipated Season Two of the Popular Youth Slopestyle Program Kicks off the New Year With Online Registration for Competitors

Ogden, UT—January 2, 2007—Today, January 2^{nd, the Salomon Jib Academy has opened its registration for all of its 2008 competition stops in the US. Registration is free of charge and spots are limited to 100 participants per stop. Prospective participants can visit www.salomonjibacademy.com to register for their spot in the competition.}

The free event gives young athletes an opportunity to boot up and ski with their heroes. Kids around the world will meet to ski for a day in small groups with Salomon 's biggest athletes. Equipped with tips from the pros, each group will nominate one youth skier to compete in that stop’s 2008 Jib Academy Competition at the end of the day. The voting is peer-judged. One participant from each stop in the U.S. competition will advance to the finals at Mammoth Mountain, California, based on his/her style, talent, positive attitude and sportsmanship.
