JMA Ventures LLC Purchase of Lake Tahoe, California’s Alpine Meadows Ski Resort Finalized

(Tahoe City, CA) San Francisco-based real estate investment firm JMA Ventures has finalized its purchase of Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, one of North Lake Tahoe’s renowned winter ski and snowboard destinations.

JMA Ventures specializes in the development and refurbishment of historical landmark properties, concentrating on revitalizing an area while retaining its original and intended character. JMA projects have ranged from leisure and hospitality to residential, retail, and industrial throughout its 20-plus year history.

Art Chapman, President of JMA Ventures, has a vested interest in Alpine Meadows. “My family and I have skied here for decades. My kids grew up skiing here,” he explained at a meeting at Alpine Meadows this summer. “A top priority for us will be to continue to offer the friendly, welcoming, ambiance that everyone – from destination visitors to locals - remembers about Alpine Meadows.
