No Crossover Judges At The Olympics

Entries Still Open To Compete For The CSTV Collegiate Nationals Skiing And Snowboarding Slopestyle National Titles And Share of $5,000 Prize Purse
New York ( 2007) – There are still open spots in slopestyle competitions at The Collegiate Nationals Snowboarding Open Championships and the Collegiate Nationals Freeskiing Open Championships. The event, part of the second-annual CSTV COLLEGIATE NATIONALS, will be held at Northstar at Tahoe resort April 13-14, 2007.
Registration is open to all male and female skiers and riders who have been full-time college students within the past nine months.
Male and female snowboarders and skiers of all levels are encouraged to register for the event at www.thecollegiatenationals.com. Registration and practice take place on Friday, April 13. Qualifying will begin on Saturday, April 14, and later that day the top qualifiers will battle it out for the Collegiate Nationals Snowboarding Open Championship and the Collegiate Nationals Freeskiing Open Championship titles and their share of the $5000 cash purse per event. Registration is $35 per competitor and includes a lift ticket, lunch and an event T-shirt.
THE COLLEGIATE NATIONALS, which emphasizes emerging collegiate sports, brings together athletes from nearly 100 different colleges and universities across the country in a range of competitive events which will be held in Reno-Tahoe and San Diego. In addition to snowboarding, wakeboarding, beach volleyball, boxing and whitewater kayaking, which were all included in the inaugural event in 2006, this year’s Collegiate Nationals will feature freeskiing, weightlifting, an adventure race, a flowboarding exhibition, a filmmaking competition and a music festival.
