This just in from the "vastly irrelevant to most of our members" department: our friends at Dark Summer magazine in the UK are putting together the first-ever UK Freeski Awards! Voting is now open to the public at www.ukfreeskiawards.co.uk for the best British male and female freeskier, best film, best photog, best rookie, and most proliferate use of the word “cheers.” Each vote placed also enters you into a drawing for prizes from a well big dabble of sponsors including K2, Salomon, Oakley and Dakine. But voting is only open until Sept. 30, so if you’re not daft, you’d best not fanny around. Cheers!
