The last Siver Young Gun event of the year hits Stratton, VT this Saturday which means Place Your Bets IV is upon us. Contest rules are the same as the last three rounds: take a look at the athlete list below and make your choice for who will take the title. Attention All Young Gun Open Athletes

Congratulations… you are officially signed up for the Siver Young Gun Open at Stratton Mtn, VT. That makes you one of an elite few who’ll be showing up with all guns blazing. The stakes are high and we expect the level of riding to be even higher. This is the fourth and final event for the 05-06 season. On March 11 one rider will walk away with the top prize and earn himself a spot in the Final Throwdown.

The Stratton stop will act as the fourth qualifier in addition to the Final Throwdown, showcasing all four 1st place winners from Copper, Seymour, Avila and Stratton. These four riders will battle it out in a head to head Final Throwdown where one rider will walk away with the ultimate prize… the Young Gun Contract.

This is a big day, we’ll be dishing out 3 top spots for the ladies and three for the guys… in addition to declaring The Young Gun…

We’re stoked to meet each and every one of you, and even more stoked to see you ride.

But before we do; we need to give you some important details to make the event run as smooth as possible. With close to 125 athletes we need to run a tight show… and if you don’t come prepared, you won’t be allowed to ride…

Waivers
First and foremost… YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT RIDE UNLESS BOTH WAIVERS ARE SIGNED (W/ PARENT OR LEGAL GURARDIAN SIGNATURE IF YOU’RE UNDER 18)

We’ve attached all necessary waivers. Print them out, sign them and bring them to check in on the day of the event.

YOU CAN'T RIDE WITHOUT BOTH WAIVERS SIGNED AND BROUGHT TO REGISTRATION!!!!!!!!

Format
Prelims: Approx. 25 riders per heat, jam format. All riders guaranteed 2 runs
Finals: Top 3 riders from riders from each prelim heat move onto finals. 2 runs, best combined score wins

Helmets
Don’t show up without one. You won't be allowed on course without a helmet.

Siver Rockin’ Your Stinkin’ Socks Off Party
The Stratton stop is the final YGO of the season… so we figured we’d rock out for a while after the event. We’re bringing a band to Stratton’s brand new Wreck Center for a skate session rock show. Entrance is free for all YGO competitors. Bring your skateboards and helmets, you’ll want both. The Wreck center also has b ball courts, arcade games, a climbing wall, pool tables and a big screen PS2 set up.

Doors open at 8pm… we rock ‘til 11.
Everyone else… $10 entry fee.

The Weather
It’s the east coast, its March, it’s unpredictable weather. We’re crossing our fingers for blue bird, but you should come prepared, the long distance forecast is calling for possible wet weather. Stay dry…. You’ll enjoy yourself that much more.
