Squaw Valley USA - Squaw is staying at the forefront of the pipe and park movement with a new and expanded Superpipe--a 400' long professionally designed and cut halfpipe on Squaw Valley's upper mountain. The new larger pipe is located in one of Squaw Valley's two terrain parks creatively designed to inspire the novice and test the skills of the most seasoned professional.

The new Superpipe is built at the top of the Mainline Terrain Park and cut with a state of the art new Super Pipe Dragon. The Superpipe is over 400' long with a 19-degree pitch and 17' walls and will continue to grow in length as the snow accumulates. To complement the new pipe, more features are being added in the Mainline area each day including table tops, rails, spines, hips, fun boxes and a huge quarter pipe. The park crew's goal is to create three separate lines through the Mainline Park: a rail line and both a medium and large jump line.

Squaw Valley USA's pipes and parks are open daily, with night operations in the Riviera pipe from 4-9pm. All operations are weather permitting and subject to temporary closure for cutting and grooming when necessary.
