january 8th - 15th ish me and a few friends are gonna be out in alta. need to know how to get to chads gap from alta base, or whether or not its possible to ski to it.

yeah, it may be public land, but its a respect thing, you have to earn it before you can go out and hit it. genraly i dont agree with what dspin7x says, but in this case i do, chad's gap is dangerous, and you and one or 2 of your little friends isnt gonna be ablet to build a big enough jump to clear it. chads gap is the waimea bay of skiing, if its not perfect, you dont go out and you dont try and session it, if you do your retarted and deserve to die. mfm will back up what he says, even if you think he is a pussy, i for one would not pick a fight with him. now that the heat is on to you your screwed, theres gonna be people up there for the whole time you are planning to be there, making shure you dont hit it. and even if you dont go then, they still will be watching, and if they even get a wif of you headed up there, you dead. as far as i know mark frank hasnt hit it, and i dont think he would know if you were gonna hit it either. either way though, he is super stoked on riding and i think he'd be stoked to see you up there, if you're actually doing it right. no one is gonna kick you out of chads gap unless there is a jump built and no tracks on the landing. generally people will be stoked to see people trying to send it.

Chads gap is easy to find. Take most of the lifts at Alta and youll see it doen in the Gulch. You can ski part way there off of supreme lift. If you can't find it, stop by the Peruvian Lodge Wednesday night, I bartend there for most of the year. I have hit it many times and wrecked twice as many times as Ive made it. If see Chads in person and still want to hit it, youve probably got the talent to do it. The only time you can't hit it is during a photo shoot, which usually lasts a few days and rarely happens. If you've got some real balls, stop listening to these fagots on this site, go hit the gap or huck 3 figures with me.
