Gonna be announced early september. Available in october. Whos getting one?
I have had the same 3gs for 3 years so I'm gonna pick one up for sure. If i get another iphone on the same carrier, can i swap between my iPhone 5 and 3gs just by swapping the SIM card? I wanna use my 3gs as my party phone when i go out at night.
Anyways. This video shows that the screen will be larger and the dock connector will be different. Anyone know of anything else? I hear there was gonna be an "iPhone wallet" app.

honestly, the biggest thing that keeps me from gobbling apple's techno-cock is the lack of a removable battery. there are days where i use the fuck out of my phone and it's pretty nice to be able to swap batteries vs. having to be tethered to a charger off and on throughout the day. until battery technology catches up with processor tech, screens, etc., i'd never buy a phone without a removable battery.

If the iPhone gets such a slight upgrades then how comes they are still very close in terms of specs to Android?
And yes the iPhone is updated once a year, whilst there are hundreds of companies that make Android phones not hard to get upgrades monthly, and I wouldn't call them huge, more like small.

-a variety of choices for hardware: It's not like it's customizable so it doesn't matter. You choose the best phone overall.
-standard USB plug: iPhone cables are all over the fucking place. Also, they come with your phone same with micro-usb cables. It's not like the average person is going to have micro-usb cables sitting around that they got before their phone anyway so that's a moot point.
-bit torrent apps/apps dont have to be approved by apple: What apps specifically can an Android use that an iPhone can't? Why is this is a direct benefit? Paying $.99 for an app or downloading a free one on the fly seems alright to me.

First off let me say i dont hate apple i just think there are better options.
Things i can do on my android thata jailbroken iphone can do
Use altrnative keyboards,
Get apps for free,
Flash videos,
Get themes,
Widgets( some people like them),
Live wallpaper (some people like them),
Download youtube videos,
Get emulators like gameboy emulators and n64emulators,
and many more things that i dont care to list.
Things about droids that are better:
Replacable battery,
Sd card slot,
Led notification,
Better equalizer apps for music,
Better youtube app,
more customizable,
Faster but maybe not as smooth,
Available in many sizes, prices and models.
Iphones are not very close in specs to androids, they are about a year behind.
If i seem uninformed then that sucks for me. As i said i do not hate apple. I have an ipod touch that i used to love but it keeps crashing and is way too slow. This is why i prefer android.

google play store has regulations on the contents apps have, but apps don't have to be approved by google. so without rooting, you can already download so much more apps. you can also sideload apps on android without rooting, that's plugging it in to the computer and putting an app file downloaded straight from the internet on the phone.

I do not own a smartphone. I am trying to find the benefits in Androids before I buy an iPhone. Also I have an iPod Touch so I'm completely satisfied with the overwhelming amount of stupid apps currently approved by Apple.

Honestly I could give a shit if you can customize Android SO MUCH MORE. Everytime I have jailbroken my iPhone to customize it I just end up changing a few tweaks to the phones display, maybe a theme here and there. Then about 5 months later I end up just backing it up to what I had originally. The design format IMO for Apple is so solid that I don't see a purpose in changing a whole lot of things. Also, Apply did a great job on the design and things with the phone. It makes sense to not change the phone drastically as the iPhone is one of their biggest money makers. The subtle matt black/white backing, taller screen, and weight/thickness changes are all Apple needs to stay on top of the game. This shit is gonna sell so quickly it's gonna be unreal. Just watch :)

Im just saying, I have a Macbook Pro, iPod Touch, iPad, aaand a Galaxy S3. The iPhones screen setup is very limiting, I dont like the screen flow. You HAVE to click on the specific App to get anywhere. There is no home screen customization. You HAVE to go to settings if you want to change anything. For android you simply long press or find a widget that can get straight to what you need. The whole android system works much, much better for a phone in my opinion. Its just so much more convenient. Maybe not as ultra simple, but it is WAY more convenient. My family all has iPhones, and I decided not to get one and wait for the S3 because I absolutely hated the interface. I love my mac, way more than any windows Ive ever used. As goes for android, I love it way more than any iPhone.

Google doesn't check apps so I have an app that allows me to download free songs (basically any song that's ever been released) and seeing as I have a few hundred songs its a big deal. Obviously you can just pirate on comp and send to phone but I find this way much easier and I can download on the go.

IMO, 4s looks nicer than the 5. I don't see the point in spending all that money for basically the same phone, when I can just get IOS 6. Plus I like the Apple cords way better than standard USB ones.

Droid is like Windows, absolutely open to devs and open to customization up the ying yang. So, you own a rooted iPhone that didnt brick, congratulations. The droid will shit on the iPhone when breaking down to performance issues but the fact of the matter is - iPhone is just easy. The integration and linkage with everything is so simplistic and user friendly. I'm only speaking with subjectivity from the two as well as with windows or the fact that if you send me a message or visit any 3 of my sites, I can blue screen your Windows OS within minutes from c prompt.
