Colorado and Tahoe have the epic. Why don't the Utah resorts get together and sell a pass it could even be like 1000 bucks and I would get one .

Because different people own each resort. You can buy a Utah Gold pass that is good at any utah resort, but it costs like 5 grand. /thread

True, but in Europe all the resorts are owned by different people, but they practically only sell regional passes.

fat dumb and misinformed is no way to go thru life flounder

a gold fully transferable pass good for 50 days skiing at each of 14 resorts is $3500
a silver nontransferable good for 30 days at each resort = $2500
a yeti 1 day @ every resort =$549
a cottonwoods canyon foundation used to sell a deep pow pass 30 days at each cottonwood resort transferable= $1750

When you walk out the door in the morning, what matters most is not what type of skiing you do but whether that skiing is any good. On a waist-deep day, dropping into tight chutes or open bowls, down a sweet line throught the trees where pockets of wind-blown snow create so many natural lips and launching pads... So lets let the dubious bickering within our own sport die with it. The answer is already out there, along with the energy, the freedom, and the truth: What "saved skiing" is SKIING. - Tom Bie

Ok that sounded dumb, but I'm trying to point out that it's possible to have a reasonably priced regional pass, instead of only buying for single resorts.

Even though the areas are all owned separately they still manage to achieve it. I doubt it would ever work in the States though, which sucks.

Wow, sorry I didn't look up my information before I posted, either way, every pass you posted is a shitty deal and that was the whole point of my post. The gold pass isn't a good deal like say an Epic Pass is in colorado. Kindly fuck off next time.

cheap shitty skiing
is still shitty skiing
utah resorts doesn't sell a cheap multi resort pass because
they don't have to
so either cough up the duckets
or figure out how to use your skills to ski for free
or move to brolorado

the only reason colorado has that is because vail (is a huge corporate company) owns key stone, breckenridge, beaver creek, vail, copper mountain, winter park, heavenly, some other place in tahoe, and i think a-basin. so they can have a multi peaks pass without any issues.

ehhhk, I would double check that. They might have different operators, but they (the operators) may all be owned by one conglomerate...

I set up passes for mulitple resorts and it's an accounting nightmare even between 'sister' resorts; let alone resorts with different owners.

Utah does have better skiing, but the quality of skiing never reflects the price. I'd argue that bridger bowl, mt has some of the best skiing in north america and a day pass is 49 bucks for an adult... I always cough up money for passes, i spend almost a grand every year buying passes because I love skiing in utah, not sure why you're trying to attack me, you're doing a terrible job.

Utah makes most of its money off of tourism. No tourist will buy this pass and less than half of the people that buy season passes will. So with all of the effort that will go into making this pass the resorts wo't make any more money.

But still it would be awesome.
