Ok, I am seriously getting more and more confused the longer I look at skis. I was pretty much dead set on the Moment PB&J's because I think i want the "one ski quiver." Because I'll be doing a lot of traveling this year, I think i want a ski that can do it all. I do a lot in park, and I love fast skis, but I also cruise...

I want something that's around 182-190.. nothin bigger.

Bacons or blends from what I've heard on here are great all mountain but still good in the park. I don't think either are super fast tho... Maybe like an armada ARV would also be something to check out. Or some Jeronimos!

the line blend are a great all around ski, fat enough in the middle with an early rise tip and tail making it easy to float on pow and they also have great flex for lapping through the park.

i own the blend and can vouch for how good it is. ive used it in pretty much all conditions. with its 100mm width and early rise it floats well in the pow. with its sidecut and camber under foot it holds and edge well in the more serious terrain. the flex does give a little chatter on hard pack but not too bad. in relation to the speed question they hace a sintered base meaning if you wax regularly it will be as fast as you would need for bombing groomers and getting speed for booters. the flex is forgiving for if you land back seat on booters or cliffs and the early rise and low weight, make swaps on rails nice and easy. pretty much the ultimate in the one ski quiver. there are definitely other skis that do a similar job. most companies have realised that people dont really have the money to buy multiple skis and so are making properly "do all" skis. just look at most companies skis that they have around the 100mm underfoot range and see which suits your needs.

Why are you considering other skis, what characteristics are you looking for as far as flex, dimensions, etc?

Well, I've heard nothing but good things about the Armada ARV's, and they have them in the 185's, which would be perfect. AND they're about $100 cheaper than the PB&J's. I'm not sure on exactly what I want, and I think that's why i'm still a little confused. I basically want something that's gonna do well in the park, be a little poppy so i can actually get up in the air haha, and something that's got a wide enough waist on it so it'll float and cruise.

sorry mobile. They're pretty nice in the park, definitely poppy enough. The deepest I rode them in was 5 inches or so but they were a blast.

Honestly it depends on how you ski, where you ski and how you value different types of skiing. I had Line Sir Francis Bacons as a 1 ski quiver last season and loved them. I ski mostly park but have always liked a fatter ski.

What % do you think you will ski park vs pow? What skis have you liked before.

In order from mostly park to mostly pow I would probably go:

I would say i'm more of like 70% park and 30% other. (I say other, because I'm on the East coast, so it's kinda hard to say true pow.)

I've ridden quite a few skis.. Hated the Armada El Ray's. they were soo heavy. I have the 4FRNT Tnk's right now, and they kinda just... aren't doing it for me. I have the Pep fujas, and I actually liked that. The tips and tails were slightly fatter, which was nice, but I've never found that "one ski" that does it all for me, ya know? And I'd really like to find it. I'm still leanin towards the PB&J's and the ARV's... but still not too sure..

I do appreciate all the help though, btw.

How tall and heavy are you? And what do you consider fat?I rode maybe 95% park on Line Sir Francis Bacons this winter and loved them. They are a bit on the heavy side for really spinny rail tricks and I'm trying to get used to a park ski now but so far I prefer the Bacons.
I forgot to include the ARV in my list but it would be between the chronics and the middle group. Personally I like rocker in all my skis though.

I'm 6'4" 190lbs. For a fatter ski, i'm thinkin like 100mm waist to 108. I don't want anything bigger than that, because then you're just gettin into pow skis.

The on3p jeronimo and Jeffery will have far and away more rocker than other skis you're considering in those waist width categories. I.E. The jeronimo will be a burlier, more rockered version of the blend, and the Jeffery will be a burlier, more rocketed version of the bacon. I would personally go jeronimo with the skiing you describe - 101 underfoot is versatile enough for both park and ec pow, and the elliptical rocker and sidecut looks really fun for cruising east coast pow or groomers.

^ I basically agree. Either the 186 Jeronimo or the 188 PB&J. I would say the ARV will be quite a lot too soft since you're a big guy.

try AR7 if u like park. it also works at some pow. its pretty soft so its flexible

OP said he was looking for a 100-108mm ski...... the ar7 in 181 is like 87 so that's not going to be a good option but they're still a solid ski.

Go with the Line SFBs. They'll definitely hold up in the park and will get the job done when you hit the pow. K2 Kung Fujas are a good option to but I didn't enjoy them nearly as much as I did the SFBs

Not necessarily. They will literally take you wherever you want to go and carve hard in any snow. Super durable sidewall too. One of the most versatile and fun skis I've ever used and it has a super manageable 108mm waist perfect for any condition
