I think that you shouldn't use songs that have already been in big edits, such as the park city edit. In my opinion it's better to choose something fresh and not something that everybody has already heard. I mean how lame was it when every edit had fuckin coastin as the song...

Anything that flows well with the film/ clips. That being said, pick a song and place clips accordingly to ad flow, rather than set clips and find a relatively similar beart in a song. Hope that helps.
