Shane McConkey Dies In Italy | 1969 - 2009

Mar 27th 2009

Shane McConkey, free ski representative to the world, died yesterday near Corvara Italy. Shane was filming for the new Matchstick video and had a malfunction after jumping off a cliff. This opened up an entirely new perspective for Shane on where he could ski and what types of lines he could claim. Shane said, "there are a lot of lines that you cant do because it ends in a big giant cliff". This new avenue aloud him to ski these lines. Shane, like most of us lived for the pure adrenaline rush. Where to Ski: Killington Mountain Resort, Killington, V.T.

Apr 19th 2012

When you’re in the ski and snowboard business people ask for a lot of recommendations. Things like: What should I wear? What kind of skis do I need? Where can I get the best après burgers? But the real big one is, where to ski? Killington Mountain Resort in Killington, Vermont is an experience. If you have never been, I highly recommend you set aside a weekend and plan your trip. There is truly something for everyone, whether you’re a student in college, lost in your twenties, raising a family or enjoying the freedoms of retirement, Killington has multitude of activities and attractions to keep you coming back for more.
